Mostly because we have no choice in the matter and growing up in it has lost its novelty. We would kill to see something that is not manmade for once in our life.
On the other hand, if it is safe enough to do so, you will realize that you would want to have some sort of staircase built into the side of it. Because it would make climbing back up easier since you would want to keep jumping all over again. Trust us we know what we are talking about. Jumping off a waterfall is fun.
